Our mothers and grandmothers made great pie. We are trying to keep the tradition going. We made one different pie each week for 52 weeks during 2012. Now we just make pie when the mood strikes us.
I like pies. I loved my moms pies, especially her applesauce pie. My Grandmothers Anna and Elva made great pies too. Kerry is a wonderful cook especially her desserts so we decided to try and keep the tradition going. Together we have made a lot of pies. Here's our attempt at 52 pies in one year.
